Green Bay Leads Wire to Wire in Home Win Over Davenport-- Box Score
Green Bay, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Bouncing back from just its third defeat of the season almost a week ago, the Green Bay women’s basketball team returned home and defeated Davenport 53-40 in its final nonconference game of the season on Saturday afternoon at the Kress Center.

The Phoenix (9-3) received a five assist performance from senior point guard Megan Lukan, who became the program’s Division I all-time leader in that category. With four minutes remaining in the first half, Lukan found her teammate Mehryn Kraker underneath the basket for the layup, moving her past Natalie Berglin and into her first with 424 assists before adding three more to move her total to 427.

“A lot of the credit goes to my teammates. They’re the ones making the shots and scoring the points,” Lukan said. Read more

Women Rally for 72-60 Win at Northern Kentucky-- Box Score
Down as much as 10 in the first half and six at the break, the Wright State women's basketball team opened the second half with a 32-13 run and went on to a 72-60 win at Northern Kentucky Saturday afternoon.

The two teams were tied six times in the first half before the Norse went on a 12-2 run to go up 30-20 with 4:12 remaining in the period.  WSU, though, answered with five straight points and cut the halftime deficit to 34-28 as Abby Jump connected on a three at the horn.

The Raiders shot just 30 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes compared to 39 percent for NKU. Read more
