Wright State 118, Central State 70

Women Set School Scoring Record Against Central State-- Box Score
Five players scored in double figures and three more added nine points each as the Wright State women's basketball team set a school record for points in a game with a 118-70 decision over Central State Wednesday afternoon at the C.J. McLin Gymnasium.

The Marauders led 6-3 early before WSU tallied seven straight points to go in front to stay, four of those coming from Tay'ler Mingo.  The margin was just three until the Raiders broke the game open with a 38-15 run over a nine-minute span, eight by Richelle van der Keijl and six from Breanna Stucke, to expand the advantage to 59-33 with still 2:42 remaining in the first half.

Wright State finished with a 63-35 halftime lead points as they shot 54 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, including seven of 18 from three-point range, and hit 12 of 20 free throws.  Central State, meanwhile, shot 44 percent overall, but was just one of five from behind the arc and two of four at the foul line.
