UIC went on the road and knocked off DePaul out of the Big East Conference in a battle for Windy City bragging rights. Four Flames reached double-figures as UIC recorded the second win in program history over the Blue Demons. Youngstown State hit the century mark in its 101-97 overtime win against Niagara. Cameron Morse led four Penguins in double-figures with 27 points and added six assists. Center Jorden Kaufman recorded a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double for Youngstown State.
UIC 80, at DePaul 75
CHICAGO (AP) -- Kyle Guice came off the bench to hit four 3-pointers, the last breaking a tie with 54.6 seconds left, and Illinois-Chicago defeated DePaul, 80-75, on Wednesday night.
Following a Blue Demon turnover, Marcus Ottey drove the left baseline and when he got to the basket he fired the ball to Guice in the right corner for the big shot. After both teams made two free throws, DePaul had three chances, missing two shoots in the final 12 seconds and then turning the ball over on an inbounds pass under the basket with 5.9 seconds left.

at Youngstown State 101, Niagara 97 (OT)
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Devin Haygood hit a pair of free throws in overtime to give Youngstown State the lead for good, then put back an offensive rebound to pad the Penguins' lead and secure a 101-97 win over Niagara Wednesday night.
The Purple Eagles held a five-point lead at intermission, but Youngstown State quickly erased the deficit and the lead changed hands multiple times in the second half. Jorden Kaufman gave the Penguins the lead with a pair of free throws with 11 seconds left, but Kahlil Dukes hit a jumper with three seconds left in regulation to get Niagara even and force overtime.
