MILWAUKEE – A furious comeback late saw the Milwaukee women's basketball team erase an eight-point deficit with less than one minute to play, only to see Northwestern sink a pair of free throws in the closing seconds for the 65-63 win.
The Panthers (7-2) had a pair of chances to win it at the buzzer only to fall just short for just their second loss of the year.

The Valparaiso University women’s basketball team fell to Big Ten foe Indiana 87-58 at historic Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. on Sunday afternoon. The Crusaders were once again led in scoring by Dani Franklin (Cedar Rapids, Iowa / George Washington), who posted 18 points. The fourth quarter was a bright spot, as the Crusaders outscored the Hoosiers 26-15.

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Leah Somerfield poured in a career-high 22 points behind a blistering 6-of-10 shooting from 3-point range with a team-high nine rebounds as the Oakland women's basketball team suffered its first home loss of the season to visiting Ball State, 66-59, Sunday afternoon on the Blacktop at the O'rena.
Nola Anderson and Taylor Gleason added eight points each while Hannah Little had a team-best three steals.

The Wright State women's basketball team battled Illinois tight throughout the game and led 68-67 on an Emily Vogelpohl jumper with 3:32 to play, only to see the Fighting Illini close the game with a 9-4 run to win 76-72 Sunday afternoon at State Farm Arena.
