INDIANAPOLIS- Milwaukee junior, Jenny Lindner has been selected as the Horizon League Player of the Week and Detroit Mercy's Anja Marinkovic has been tabbed for the second time in as many weeks as the Horizon League Freshman of the Week, respectively.

Lindner posted two efficient outings for the Panthers averaging 21 points on 70 percent shooting from the field in two wins. The guard also shot a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line to move her to fourth in the nation in free throw percentage.
Against Youngstown State, the junior tallied 17 points and nine rebounds with the fourth rebound putting Lindner at 500 boards for her career. Versus Cleveland State, the Neillsville, Wis. native scorched the Vikings for 25 points on 8-12 shooting including three triples. Lindner also dished out four assists to help clip the Vikings for the season sweep.
This is the second Player of the Week honor Lindner has collected on the season and the third in her career.
Anja Marinkovic / Detroit Mercy / Freshman / Guard / Toronto, Ont.
Marinkovic recorded 11 points in 15 minutes as Detroit Mercy won their lone game of the week against their rival Oakland. The guard sank both free throws attempted and also blocked a shot to help the Titans improve to 8-0 at home in Horizon League play for first time since the 1996-97 season.
This is the third Freshman of the Week honor for Marinkovic and the third back-to-back winner of the award on the year.
