INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League and ESPN announced today that the men’s basketball championship game of the 2017 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will air live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET, Tuesday, March 7, from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. A long-standing television partner, ESPN’s family of network will air all 18 games of the 2017 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships.

The second annual Motor City Madness brings together the men’s and women’s championship events for the first time since 1992.

Motor City Madness will feature all 20 men’s and women’s teams playing 18 games over five days to crown two conference champions. The championships will take place March 3-7. ABOUT JOE LOUIS ARENA
Home of the Horizon League Men's & Women's Basketball Championship and the 11-time Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings, Joe Louis Arena proudly stands along the banks of the Detroit River. The 20,027-seat arena opened its doors in 1979 and replaced the Red Wings' former home of Olympia Stadium. Joe Louis Arena is named after former boxer and heavyweight champion, Joe Louis, who grew up in the Detroit Area.
