Record Offensive Outburst Overwhelms Concrodia, 109-62-- Box Score
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Leah Somerfield scored 18 points and Olivia Nash added 17 as Oakland scored the most points in the Division I era in a win over Concordia, 109-62, Monday morning at the Athletics Center O'rena. The Golden Grizzlies played in front of a crowd of 1,358 as Oakland hosted several local elementary schools for Excellence in Education Day.

A total of six Oakland players scored in double figures led by Somerfield, who was the team leader in points for the second time this season. Sinclair Russell scored a career-best 13 points and led the team with eight rebounds, while Peyton Apsey also had 13 points with seven assists. Hannah Orwat tallied her first career double-digit point game with 11 and Amy Carlton added 10 points.

Women Set Division I Scoring Record Against Otterbein-- Box Score
The Wright State women's basketball team scored its most points ever in a game as a Division I member Monday night in defeating Otterbein 104-51 at WSU's Nutter Center.

The margin was just six until the Raiders went on a 22-4 run over an eight-minute span, a run that saw eight different players score, to go up 43-19 with 3:34 remaining in the first half.

WSU took a 43-22 lead into the halftime break after shoot 48 percent from the field, including four of nine from three-point range.  The Cardinals, meanwhile, shot 31 percent overall and were just one of 11 from behind the arc. Read more

The Golden Grizzlies grabbed a 57-26 lead at the half as Oakland shot 50 percent (21-42) from the floor and scored 14 unanswered points over a four-minute stretch. Somerfield ended the period with 11 points and Nola Anderson added nine. Read more
