Crusaders Take Down Grizzlies in Friday Night Battle
In another classic matchup in the series, it was the Valparaiso University men’s basketball team which held off Oakland runs throughout Friday night’s matchup at the ARC, as the Crusaders led nearly start to finish and staved off one final rally from the Golden Grizzlies at the end to earn an 86-84 victory. With the win, Valpo secured at least a share of the Horizon League regular season championship – its fourth such title in the last five seasons.
