Valparaiso continued it hot streak, winning its sixth consecutive game, topping Wright State and halting the Raiders’ three-game win streak. Alec Peters posted his 14th double-double of the season with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Green Bay earned a road win at Oakland behind double-doubles from Kerem Kanter and Kenneth Lowe to improve to 7-2 in Horizon League play. Milwaukee got a dagger 3-point shot from Cody Wichmann with 24 seconds remaining in overtime to edge Detroit Mercy. Northern Kentucky set its Division I-era record for wins in a season with a road win at UIC as five players scored in double-figures.

at Valparaiso 70, Wright State 55*
VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) -- Alec Peters had 25 points and 14 rebounds and Valparaiso got the early jump on Wright State for a 70-55 win on Friday night.The Crusaders (17-4, 7-1 Horizon League) opened with a 15-4 lead and extended to 31-13 while the Raiders (14-8, 5-4) made just six of their first 27 shots.

Valparaiso had its largest lead at 56-35 with 9:14 to go, but Wright State had a 20-6 run to get within 62-55 on Mark Alstork's free throws with 2:06 left. Tevonn Walker had a dunk for Valpo three seconds later, added a 3-point play on the next possession, and Shane Hammink capped the Crusaders' 8-0 run to close the game on a 3-pointer with 34 seconds left.

Green Bay 80, at Oakland 72*
OAKLAND, Mich. (AP) -- Kerem Kanter and Kenneth Lowe each had a double-double, Khalil Small scored 16 points with nine rebounds and Green Bay beat Oakland 80-72 on Friday night to maintain sole possession of second place in the Horizon League.

Kanter, Lowe and Warren Jones had 14 points apiece. Kanter grabbed a career-high 15 boards and Love added 10 rebounds for Green Bay (13-8, 7-2), which is one game back of Valparaiso in the conference standings.

Milwaukee 73, at Detroit Mercy 69 (OT)*
DETROIT (AP) -- Cody Wichmann tied his career high with 23 points, including a 3-pointer with 24 seconds left in overtime, Brock Stull had 16 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and five assists and Milwaukee beat Detroit Mercy 73-69 for its second straight overtime win on Friday night.

Wichmann made a career-best-tying six 3-pointers on 12 attempts, Bryce Nze scored four of his 12 points in OT and finished with eight rebounds and Jeremy Johnson scored 11.

Northern Kentucky 79, at UIC 62*
CHICAGO (AP) -- Mason Faulkner scored 19 points to lead five Northern Kentucky players in double figures and the Norse beat UIC 79-62 on Friday night. Lavone Holland II had 16 points, Cole Murray scored 12, and Drew McDonald and Dantez Walton added 10 points apiece for Northern Kentucky (14-8, 5-4 Horizon League).

Walton scored eight points, including two 3s, during a 12-0 run that gave the Norse a 12-point lead with 2:21 left in the half and they took a 39-30 advantage into the break. The Flames scored six points in a row to trim their deficit to 46-38 with 14:54 to play but Faulkner hit a jumper and then made a layup to spark an 8-0 spurt that pushed the lead back into double figures for good.
