Green Scores 1,000th Point As Vikings Fall At Ohio-- Box Score
ATHENS, Ohio – Kiersten Green recorded her 1,000th career point Monday evening, as the Cleveland State women's basketball team fell to Ohio University, 71-64. The loss drops the Vikings to 7-5 on the season, while Ohio improves to 9-2.
Green became the 25th Viking to record 1,000 career points at the 6:57 mark of the first half, converting her fourth three-pointer of the contest. Green is the second Viking on the current roster to reach 1,000 career points, joining classmate Cori Coleman who achieved the feat last season.
Green finished the game with a team-high 19 points – including a 5-for-8 effort three-point – while Coleman finished with 18 points and Imani Gordon tallied her second double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Read more

Walker, Schlegel Too Much For Zips As Penguins Win 75-62-- Box Score
Penguin posts Heidi Schlegel and Latisha Walker each scored 25 points to help lead the Youngstown State women's basketball team to an impressive 75-62 win over previously unbeaten Akron on Monday night at the Beeghly Center.
With the victory, YSU improves to 11-1 on the year while Akron falls to 10-1.
Schlegel had an impressive first half scoring 17 of her game-and-season high 25 points while Walker had 16 of her career-high 25 in the second. Schlegel and Walker each finished with double-doubles. Schlegel had 15 rebounds on the night while Walker had 11 in the contest. It was Walker's sixth double-double of the young season while it was the fifth for Schlegel. Read more
