INDIANAPOLIS – Wright State senior Maria Harrison (Troy, Ohio) and Youngstown State senior Bobby Grace (Middleburg Heights, Ohio) have been named Horizon League Indoor Field Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 21-27.
Out of 26 competitors in the shot put, Harrison turned in a second-place showing at the Greyhound Classic. Her toss of 13.05m marked a new school record. She now owns both the shot put and weight throw school records. Harrison also turned in a fourth-place finish in the weight throw (13.05m).
Grace took first-place out of 44 competitors at the YSU Invitational. His toss of 19.62m beat the previous school record of 18.95m, which Grace set on Jan. 11 at the Doug Raymond Invitational. The senior now holds the top-three shot put marks in program history.
Wright State and Youngstown State return to action Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at the Penn State National and SPIRE Invitational, respectively.

Eric Lewis, Detroit (Sr., Eastpointe, Mich.) - Captured first-place in both the weight throw (18.47m) and shot put (14.31m) at the IPFW Quadrangular.
Alex Chollet, Milwaukee (Jr., Aurora, Ill.) - Finished first in the shot put with a toss of 14.96m and third in the weight throw at the John Craft Invite.
Nancy Harmon, Milwaukee (Sr., Skokie, Ill.) - Weight throw of 16.95m at the John Craft Invite ranks second in the league this season. Also posted 11.98m in the shot put to place seventh.
Allyson Koglin, Detroit (Sr., Port Hope, Mich.) - Top five finishes in both the weight throw (15.79m) and the shot put (11.33m) at the IPFW Quadrangular.
Chenera Lacy, Youngstown State (Fr., Virginia Beach, Va.) - Registered jumps of 1.70m in the high jump and 5.15m in the long jump at the YSU Invitational.
