INDIANAPOLIS- Green Bay junior Jessica Lindstrom has been named Horizon League Player of the Week while Youngstown State's Mary Dunn has been selected as Horizon League Freshman of the Week.

Lindstrom notched two double-double games over the weekend as the Phoenix cruised to two straight road victories over Marquette and South Dakota State. The junior’s 24 points against Marquette was a career-high and she also tallied 12 rebounds and three steals on the evening. In the battle of the top mid-majors at South Dakota State, Lindstrom recorded 15 rebounds to go along with 14 points.

On the week, the forward shot an astounding 8-10 from three and 14-25 overall for a 56.0 shooting percentage. This is the third Player of the Week honor that Lindstrom has picked up on the year.

Mary Dunn / Youngstown State / Freshman / Forward / Washington, Pennsylvania

Dunn registered a career-high 19 points on an efficient 9-14 shooting from the floor against Akron which is the most by a freshman Penguin since. Additionally the forward grabbed five rebounds and had two steals in the Penguins last second defeat.

Against Akron, Dunn totaled 14 points to go along with a couple of rebounds. The freshman averaged 16.5 points on 61.5 percent shooting from the field in the two game span for the Penguins. This is the second Freshman of the Week award that Dunn has received on the year.
