Crusaders Assemble Valiant Effort Versus #12 Louisville-- Box Score
The Crusader women's basketball team ditched its polite defense Sunday en route to accumulating a season-best six steals, but #12 Louisville owned a 54-34 advantage in the paint as the Cardinals picked up an 86-59 win over the Brown and Gold at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

Lexi Miller (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) and Dani Franklin (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/George Washington) both shot better than 50% from the floor in the losing effort. Franklin reached double figures for the sixth straight game as the freshman tossed in 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Read more

Milwaukee Rally Forces Missouri To Sweat Out Victory-- Box Score 
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's basketball team put up a valiant effort in the second half against Missouri University before falling, 68-55, Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.

"I knew we would never quit, that word is not in our team's vocabulary," Milwaukee head coach Kyle Rechlicz said. "I knew they would fight. We just made some poor decisions up to that point and if we took care of the basketball better and started rebounding, I knew we would have a chance." Read more

Posts Carry Penguins to 73-66 Win at Tennessee State-- Box Score

Nashville, Tennessee -- Youngstown State had four post players score in double figures, and Heidi Schlegel led all players with 21 points as the Penguins beat Tennessee State 73-66 in the final game of the Teresa Phillips Thanksgiving Classic on Sunday.

Schlegel was named the Classic's Most Valuable Player as she posted her second double-double in as many games. YSU improved to 6-0 and has matched its best start as a Division I program, and Tennessee State dropped to 1-5. Read more

Women's Basketball Cruises Past UIS, 61-44-- Box Score
CHICAGO – The UIC women’s basketball team (4-1) cruised to a 61-44 home win over Division II member Illinois-Springfield (2-3) Sunday afternoon (Nov. 30). The Flames are off to their first 4-1 start since the 2011-12 season.

UIC led for over 38 minutes and was up by as many as 24 in the second half. The Flames forced 23 turnovers and scored 31 points off UIS’ miscues. UIC had 36 points in the paint, grabbed 18 offensive rebounds and scored 16 second-chance points. Read more

Green Bay Starts Hot, But No. 3 UConn Too Strong in End-- Box Score
ESTERO, Fla. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – After seeing the score tied late in the first half, No. 3 UConn would pull away from the Green Bay women’s basketball team in route to an 89-53 victory on Sunday night at Germain Arena in the Gulf Coast Showcase Championship game.

The Phoenix (5-2) entered the game in hopes of shocking the college basketball world by handing UConn (5-1) just its second loss in its last 52 games overall. Green Bay did jump out to a six-point lead in the game, thanks to a couple of three-pointers from Tesha Buck and Mehryn Kraker. Read more
